Biography
A talented freestyler, Dragelin is part of two school-record-setting free relays (the 800 and 400 Free). He has been a consistent EISL point producer, scoring in three events all three years. In 2008-09, he will look to improve upon his career bests of 20.83 (50 free), 46.03 (100 free) and 1:40.50 (200 free).
At Bishop Denis J. O’Connell High: Four varsity swimming letters ... captain as a senior ... finished first in the 500 free, second in the 200 free as a senior in the National Catholic Championships ... was considered for All-America for both times.
Outside Experience: Competed for the Curl Burke Swim Club.
Personal: Majoring in history ... likes to play basketball and poker ... also plays the drums ... parents both attended James Madison; father, David, played soccer there from 1975 to 1979 ... uncles, John and Lance Dragelin, both played soccer at West Virginia.
