Welcome to the new online home of Columbia Athletics! This revamped website comes to you courtesy of the generous sponsorship of The Varsity 'C' Club.
We hope to provide several benefits with this new site. First and most evident, the pages are cleaner and more visually appealing, courtesy of Digital Knowledge Ventures (DKV), an on-campus unit of Columbia which was responsible for the design, in conjunction with athletic department officials. DKV also redesigned Columbia University's home page and many of the University's online learning resources. An added benefit which goes hand-in-hand with the cleaner design is a more easily-navigable site.
The site is coded more concisely than the previous version of GoColumbiaLions, thanks to DKV and College Sports Online, the service provider which also hosts the other seven Ivy League institutions' official athletic sites. The result will be faster load times for you viewing the site.
Finally, the new site is more informative. It will feature bios and photos of all of Columbia's intercollegiate student-athletes, and already has this information for many of the Lions' teams.
