CAMBRIDGE, MASS. - Columbia will have six top-eight competitors in this evening's six events in day two of the Ivy League Championships at Harvard. This morning's preliminary session ranked among one of the program's best ever, according to head coach Diana Caskey.

First-year Casey Weddle and junior Kelly McConnell have qualified for two finals this evening. Both will be in the championship final of the 100 fly and the 100 back. Weddle finished fifth in the preliminary of each event.

Sophomore Amy Krakauer swam 1:04.61 for the second-fastest time in the 100 breast. First-year Hannah Galey looks to continue what is shaping up to be an outstanding meet for her; she has qualified for the final of the 200 free after finishing third in the 100 yesterday.

The Lions will also have seven individuals in the consolation finals and five in the bonus finals.
