Karoline Borup began working for the Columbia rowing programs in February 2023.
Borup served as a C150 Parent Coordinator for Family & Friends of Columbia Lightweight Rowing from 2017-22. In this role, she facilitated lightweight rowing events in partnership with coaching staff which created comradery among parents, athletes, and alum resulting in a high-level student athlete and alum experience, created weekly communications during the season to keep family members informed of C150 events, and coordinated parent donations and participation ensuring each event supported the student athletes.
Borup spent time in the Princeton National Rowing Association's fundraising and office administration. For four years in this position, Borup supported the Executive Director and Director in the planning and executing of regattas and fundraisers, coordinated logistics related to home regattas including IRAs, NCAA, and Regional Championships, and selected vendors for regattas ensuring most cost-effective options for each regatta.
Borup's other rowing experiences include time with the Mercer Boys Youth Team from 2014-2016. She was the parent coordinator and facilitated boys rowing events in partnership with coaching staff which created comradery among the parents and junior athletes which led to an exceptional student athlete and family experience.
Borup received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Montclair State University.
