Ad Romero is in his first season as acting assistant coach after serving as the Lions’ volunteer assistant coach in 2006. Romero, a double major in history and economics while at Columbia, graduated in May of 2007. He played for Columbia’s Club volleyball team while assisting the Lions’ coaching staff.
Coach Brie Katz was thrilled to have Romero join the Lions again. “Ad is trustworthy, organized and we are extremely lucky to have him work with us. His duties will include recruiting, operations and on-court training. “
Romero, a California native, moved from the Los Angeles area to Manhattan.
