Ed Binnie joined the Columbia volleyball staff in September of 2009 on a volunteer basis. Binnie, a native of Sydney, Australia, brings a wealth of playing, coaching and refereeing experience to the Columbia staff. A 2003 graduate of Sydney University, Binnie has played on multiple teams in the Sydney University State League, captaining several that medaled in both Divisions I and II. Binnie has also served as a head and assistant coach on men and women's teams in Australia, and has refereed both indoor and beach volleyball in Australia on the state and national levels.
