2017-18 (Junior):Â Posted a 9-10 record overall at 165 pounds ... Claimed six wins via pin, and three more via tech fall.
2016-17 (Sophomore): Went 5-5 during his second season, splitting time between 157, 165 and 174 pounds ... Posted bonus point victories in four of his five victories ... Helped the Lions to a dual win over Hofstra with a first round pin of Sage Heller at 174 pounds.
2015-16 (Freshman):Â Posted a 6-5 overall record for the Lions at 165.
Personal: A three-sport athlete at Phillipsburg High School in New Jersey … Qualified for the New Jersey State Championships three times during his prep career … Claimed third place his senior season at the state championships in the 160-pound bracket … Took home fourth place at the 2015 Beast of the East … Garnered All-American honors after the 2014 Flo Nationals … Set school records for wins in a career with 128, wins in a season with 43 and pins in a career with 69 … Also participated in lacrosse and tennis … Will attend Columbia College … The son of Gary and Allison Elling.
