Tatiana Garcia began her first year as Columbia Athletics’ Administrative Assistant for Business, Finance and Human Resources in September 2021. Her many duties at Columbia include assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Business, Finance and Human Resources offices.

Garcia joined Columbia Athletics after serving 10 years as a customer service representative and most recently as an Account Manager with Corporate Traveler. At Corporate Traveler, she maintained customer service quality and standards for each account, onboarded new clients, and assisted preferred partners in obtaining contracted rates for client travel.

Prior to her tenure with Corporate Traveler, Garcia worked as an Event Travel Manager at Cievents (2017-19), as a travel consultant for FCM Travel Solutions (2017-19) and served in several capacities with Liberty Travel (2011-17) as a team leader, assistant team leader and travel consultant. She earned several awards at Liberty Travel, including Top Novice in 2012, Most Improved Consultant in 2015, and helped her team win the Most Profitable Award in 2019.
An Inwood, New York City native, Garcia earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from Sacred Heart University in 2008. She also minored in sports management.
On the athletics side, Garcia served as team captain for the Sacred Heart women's rugby team from 2007-08 and later volunteered as an assistant coach with the team in 2009-10. She interned at Mattingly Sports, where she traveled to softball and baseball tournaments throughout Connecticut to speak about the benefits of using Mattingly bats.
