
Women's Golf Finishes Tied for Third at Yale

NEW HAVEN, CONN. - The women's golf team finished tied for third at the Yale Invitational, ahead of Brown, Dartmouth and Penn.
Despite shooting its highest round of the fall season, Columbia shot well enough on day one to complete the tournament tied for third place with Georgetown and Harvard, placing behind Rollins and Yale.
First-year Christy Yun (CC-Tacoma, Wash.) carded a 153 (72-81) to finish tied for sixth overall, while fellow first-year Sara Ovadia (CC-Santa Barbara, Calif.) shot a 157 (76-81) over the two rounds to tie for 12th overall.
Columbia will continue its fall season during the weekend of October 14-15 when the Lions will take part in the Rutgers Invitational in New Brunswick, N.J.
