Wesseldine Named Second Team All-Region

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Erin Wesseldine (CC-Virginia Beach, Va.) was named second team All-Mideast Region by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association. Wesseldine was named second team All-Ivy earlier this week.
Wesseldine, a four-year starter on defense for the Lions, tied for the Ivy League lead in defensive saves and ranked fifth in the league in assists with seven. She also ranked sixth in the league in assists per game. Her seven assists fell just one shy of tying the Columbia single-season record.
The senior defender has started every game in her four-year career. She is also an Academic All-Ivy honoree.
