Field Hockey Lands 14 Lions on 2025 NFHCA Academic Squad

Sam Petrucco makes the list for the fourth straight year

MANAHAWKIN, N.J. — Columbia Field Hockey has 14 members on the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Academic Squad program.

The National Academic Squad program honors undergraduate collegiate student-athletes and scholastic junior and senior student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher through the first semester of the current academic year.

Nearly 1,200 student-athletes from over 80 Division I institutions have been named to the 2025 NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.

Three prestigious Division I academic awards are yet to be unveiled — the NFHCA Scholars of Distinction will be announced on Feb. 13, the NFHCA National Academic Team awards on Feb. 17, and concluding with the announcement of the National Scholar-Athlete on Feb. 19.
