Field Hockey Drops Season Finale to Harvard, 2-1

The loss snapped a two-game win streak by the Lions, who still finished the season with the second most wins in school history.
Harvard's Jane Sackovich gave Harvard the early 1-0 lead at 13:46 when she flicked the ball into the back of the cage from the left side.
Columbia tied the score at 1-1 at 24:46. Ashley McMasters (CC-Virginia Beach, Va.) tipped in Kim Branich's (CC-Virginia Beach, Va.) straight shot off of a penalty corner and past Crimson keeper Siobhan Connolly.
Fuller cashed in with the deciding goal with 30 seconds remaining in the first half on a broken penalty corner. Aline Brown got the assist when she sent the ball towards the goal and Fuller directed it in for the 2-1 lead.
Harvard held a 10-8 edge in shots in the game, but Columbia finished with a 5-4 advantage in penalty corners.
Gena Miller (CC-St. Louis, Mo.) finished with three saves in the loss for the Lions.
