Women's Tennis Falls to Texas-Arlington

ARLINGTON, TEXAS - The Lions picked up two impressive wins at #2 and #6 singles, but fell to University of Texas-Arlington 5-2 in Arlington, Texas.
The Lions dropped the doubles point, as UTA swept through. Milena Kachar and Sydney Murray dropped a tough match 8-6 at #1, while Eunice Chao and Angela
Hendry lost a heart-breaker at #2, 9-8.
Nina Suda and Lauren Shearer dropped an 8-2 match at #3 to round out doubles.
Kachar fell at #1 6-3, 7-5 and Hendry battled to win at #2, 7-5, 4-6, 1-0 (3). Murray fell in three, 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 at #3, while Molly Condit lost 6-2, 7-6 at #4. Suda lost at
#5, 6-4, 6-2 and Anna Varnay picked up a win at #6, 3-6, 7-6, 1-0 (7).
