NEW YORK, N.Y. - Caroline Bierbaum '06CC was named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American first team on June 22.
Bierbaum, the Honda Award winner for cross country, is both a five-time All-American and a repeat to the Academic All-America first team.

Bierbaum is also a finalist for the NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship, which will be announced at the end of June.
She is the second first team Academic All-American for Columbia this season, as fencing's Emma Baratta was named to the At-Large first team earlier in June.
Bierbaum earned a degree in English and is currently enrolled in law school.
