
Men's Basketball Announces 2006 Recruiting Class

Head Men's Basketball Coach Joe Jones has announced that five first-years, hailing from four different states, will join the men's basketball team in the fall of 2006.
Patrick Foley (
Foley, a 6-2 guard from Long Island, played for St. Anthony's in
Foley will wear #5 for the Lions.
Bulger, a 6-3 guard from
Matthews, a 6-3 guard, earned four letters in basketball at South Cobb high school. He was a three-time captain and scored 1,721 points during his career. South Cobb won the Region 5A Championship with a perfect 23-0 record in 2006, earning them the first regional title since 1986. He was a Marietta Daily Journal and Atlanta Journal Constitution first team all-county and was named an honorable mention All-American by Street and Smith Magazine. Matthews will wear #32 for the Lions.
Gately, a 6-8 forward, earned three letters in baseball and basketball at St. Mark's and he was captain of both as a senior. He was an ISL all-star in 2005 and 2006, while his team was the NEPSAC champion in 2006 with a perfect 27-0 record. They were also two-time ISL champions. He averaged 12 points and 11 rebounds per game as a senior. Gately will wear #34 for the Lions.
