Field Hockey Announces 2006 Recruiting Class

Head Field Hockey Coach Katie Beach has announced that seven first-years, representing five different states, will join the Lions in the fall.

Hannah Biddle (Flourtown, Pa.), Kaitlyn Busler (Longport, N.J.), Christine Buszczak (North Brunswick, N.J.), Catherine Campbell (Louisville, Ky.), Jane Gartland (Media, Pa.), Juliet Hatchett (Newport News, Va.) and Ariel Leon (Bethesda, Md.).

Biddle, Buszczak, Busler and Gartland will compete for spots in the midfield along with the Lions' solid core returners, while Leon and Hatchett are forwards that will compete to join a young front line anchored by the experience of senior Ramie Merrill.

Catherine Campbell is a defender that will combine with the Lions' experienced back line.
