Football Ready for Ivy League Opener on Homecoming

NEW YORK -- One does not have to go back too far to find the last meeting between Columbia and Princeton when both teams were undefeated. The Lions traveled to Princeton with a 2-0 mark in 2005, only to fall 43-3 to the Tigers.
This Saturday pits the 2-0 Lions against 2-0 Tigers again. However, the 2006 version of the game should feature somewhere in the neighborhood of 10,000 Columbia supporters and a rejuvenated attitude for the Lions.
