NEW YORK ? Craig Hormann and JoJo Smith have been selected to the Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA) Academic All-Star Team, the ADA announced December 14.
The Lion senior co-captains are two of the four Ivy League student-athletes named to the 51-member team, composed of players from around the nation. Columbia was one of nine schools that had more than one representative on the team; no school had more than two.
Hormann became the second-leading passer in Columbia history this fall, and ranks fifth in Ivy League history in number of pass completions. He is a civil engineering major in Columbia's Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science.
Smith, a cornerback majoring in sociology, was a semifinalist for the Draddy Trophy. Both Hormann and Smith earned Academic All-Ivy League honors this season.
