A history major, Howard is a key member of Columbia's heavyweight rowing squad.

What do you like best about Columbia: Living with my friends, being challenged, both athletically and academically and being able to rock out with my band.

Career plans: I plan to become a professional musician. If that falls through, I may teach or enter the finance world.

What do you like best about rowing: Being challenged by my coaches and hanging out with a great group of guys.
