Cargile Promoted to Broncos' Active Roster

NEW YORK ? Former Columbia defensive back Steve Cargile '04CC has been moved to the Denver Broncos' active roster, the team announced. Cargile, who is in his second year with the Broncos and his third in the NFL, has been on Denver's practice squad until this week.
He was moved to shore up the Broncos' secondary, which has been thinned due to injury.
The former All-Ivy League safety started his Columbia career as a wide receiver.
