Field Hockey's Gabby Kozlowski Tabbed Ivy League Rookie of the Week

NEW YORK - Columbia field hockey's Gabby Kozlowski was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week, conference officials announced today. This marks the first time in her young career that she has received this honor.
Kozlowski broke exploded onto the scene last week, finishing with seven shots, six of which were on goal, two goals and an assist. Her efforts helped the team to a 2-1 record last week. The first-year came off the bench to score two goals in the Lions' 3-1 win against Lehigh, and followed that up by assisting on Columbia's lone goal in a 2-1 loss to Dartmouth. The Voorhees, N.J. native, now ranks fourth on the team with seven points.
Columbia returns to action on Wednesday, October 28 when it hosts Penn in an Ivy League match up at 4 p.m.
