NEW YORK – The Lions will travel upstate to face Cornell on Saturday, November 14 at 12:30 p.m. in Columbia's final road game of the 2009 season. Both teams enter the matchup with identical records of 2-6 and 1-4 in the Ivy League.

THE SERIES
This is the 98th game between Cornell and Columbia in a series that started in 1889. Columbia won last year's meeting 17-7, however the Lions have not won in Ithaca since 2003.
ONE YARD AT A TIME
With 2,417 yards, Austin Knowlin became Columbia's all-time leading receiver. Knowlin broke the Columbia career receptions record earlier in the season and currently ranks ninth all-time in Ivy League history in catches with 201. He ranks 16th all-time in Ivy League history in receiving yards.
PICK YOUR POISON
While Austin Knowlin has remained among the League offensive leaders, tight end Andrew Kennedy has quietly totaled five touchdowns on just 18 catches this season for 288 yards - second on the team.
SACK ATTACK
Lou Miller currently leads the Ivy League in sacks and ranks third in tackles for a loss. Miller recently tied the 30-year old Columbia career sack record with 15, sharing the lead with Mario Biaggi '80CC.
FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS
Sophomore QB Jerry Bell threw his first collegiate touchdown on a 10-yard pass to junior TE Andrew Kennedy with 1:10 left in the Lions' loss to Harvard. Bell finished 22-of-42 and 226 yards in his collegiate debut.
PARUCH LEADS THE LIONS
Chris Paruch led the Lions with nine tackles and 1.5 sacks vs. Harvard. It was Paruch's first collegiate sack.
