RESULTS
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - After three days of play at the Nittany Lion Invitational, Columbia's 894 proved to be one stroke better than Yale's 895, as the Lions bested 14 teams to win the tournament, hosted by Penn State.
Harvard finished third in the tournament with an 897 as the three teams from the Ivy League held the top three positions.
Monique Ishikawa took second place overall in the event, helping Columbia to the team title. The junior had a three day total of 219 (+3) highlighted by a final round 69 (-3).
Camilla Vik posted the second lowest total for the Lions, after rounds of 74-75-76 to finish at 225 (+9). Rachel Shi tallied a 228 with rounds of 77-77-74, and Jackie Chulya posted a 232 after rounds of 72-81-79 to round out the Columbia scoring.
The Lions fall schedule will continue this week, when Columbia heads across the country to Seattle for a tournament hosted by the University of Washington on Tuesday and Wednesday.
