Skudalski Earns ECAC All-Star Honors

DANBURY, Conn. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its 2014 Division I Field Hockey All-Star teams on Thursday, and one Columbia member earned a spot on the team in Lauren Skudalski.
The senior from Wyoming, Pennsylvania, was honored after Columbia had one of its most successful seasons in program history. Skudalski earned a spot on the ECAC All-Star second team as a defender.
For Skudalski, today's award comes on the heels of earning a place in the 2014 Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division I Senior Game at College Park, Maryland, which she participated in on Nov. 22. Skudalski was also honored by the conference this season, earning first team All-Ivy League honors.
In 2014, the defender led the conference with 10 defensive saves, while scoring nine points, coming from one goal and seven assists.
