Zimmerman Earns Fourth Ivy League Rookie of the Week Honor

NEW YORK – Camille Zimmerman has been named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this year, conference officials announced Monday afternoon.
Zimmerman scored 17 points on Sunday as the Lions slipped to Portland State 71-66. Five of her points came off five attempts from the charity stripe as the first-year continues lead the team with a 86.5 free throw percentage. She added six rebounds, two blocks, two steals and one handout to her stat line.
Zimmerman has gone for double digits in all, but one outing this season including each of the team's last six games. She currently sits sixth in the conference in scoring (15.2 ppg) and seventh in rebounds (7.3 rpg).
The Lions visits Wagner Tuesday, Dec. 30 to wrap-up their first half of the season. The non-conference contest is schedule to begin at 2 p.m.
