BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Robert Napolitano was the final Columbia runner to compete in the indoor season, as the junior took part in the 1 Mile run at the NCAA Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Alabama.
The Brick, New Jersey, native clocked a 4:11.78 in the second of two heats, narrowly missing the final, which 10 of the 16 qualifiers will take part in on Saturday.
Up next, Napolitano and the rest of the Columbia track & field teams will take part in the first outdoor meet of the spring, when the Lions head to the Stony Brook Invitational on Thursday, March 24.
