Doherty Set to Compete at International Indoor Championship with Team USA This Weekend

NEW YORK - Columbia field hockey sophomore Maeve Doherty is set to compete with the United States National Indoor Team this weekend at the International Indoor Championship from March 5-6 in Spring City, Pennsylvania. Team USA will go up against nine teams during the two-day event.
“I am so excited for this opportunity for Maeve to continue to learn and develop as a player all while getting to represent the USA," head coach Caroline Nelson-Nichols said. "Maeve works very hard on her development and I know this will be a great chance for her to showcase that work.”
Team USA's first game is at 8 a.m. on March 5. Live results throughout the tournament can be found here.
