IVY LEAGUE RELEASE | 2015-16 RESULTS & STATISTICS
PRINCETON, N.J. - Following an impressive junior campaign, Jackie Chulya has been selected as the unanimous Ivy League Player of the Year, conference officials announced on Tuesday afternoon. The honor comes after a ninth-place finish at the 2016 Ivy League Women's Golf Championship to give the junior second team All-Ivy accolades.
Chulya finished the year with the second lowest single-season scoring average in program history with a 74.95 and becomes only the second golfer in program history to be named the Ivy League Player of the Year, joining Michelle Piyapattra (2012).
Chulya led the Lions this season after finishing among the Top-20 in seven of her eight events, including a tie for first at the 2015 Cardinal Cup where she was crowned the Co-Champion after finishing the three-round tournament three-strokes under par. Of those seven top-20 finishes, Chulya was able to place among the Top-10 in six and the Top-5 in three of those events.
