NEW YORK – The No. 2 Columbia men's squash team beat No. 19 Williams 8-1 on Friday night, Jan. 27 at the SL Green StreetSquash Center. The Lions improved to 7-1 overall and have won their last six matches.
Without two usual starters, Carter Robitaille and Seif Atta, the Lions were still able to dominate the Ephs.
"You never know when you are resting people how it is going to turn out," Coach Jacques Swanepoel said. "The guys that moved into the line up gained some good experience and showed up when they needed to."
The Lions are back in action on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. when they host No. 11 Cornell at SL Green StreetSquash.
