PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Columbia men's tennis team was impressive in their first fall outing, sweeping William & Mary, winning 10 of 12 matches against Denver, and sweeping singles against Middle Tennessee at the Penn Invitational over the weekend.
 
Against the Tribe, Columbia swept four doubles matches and eight singles bouts. Adam Ambrozy and Jackie Tang were winners in the top doubles match, with Tang going on to win the top singles match, 6-1, 6-2, and Ambrozy doing the same at No. 3 singles, 6-2, 6-4. Sophomores Jack Lin and Austin Huang also won a pair of matches on the day, winning their doubles match together, 6-4, before Lin won No. 2 ingles 6-4, 6-2, and Huang did the same at No. 4, 6-2, 6-2.
 
In the match with the Pioneers, the Lions once again took home wins in all four doubles matches, before earning victories in six of eight singles bouts. Lin, Huang, and Ambrozy stayed unbeaten with wins in both singles and doubles on the day.

On Sunday against Middle Tennessee, Columbia split four doubles matches, before sweeping eight singles matches. Tang, Ambrozy and Huang were all straight-set winners in three of the top four matches.
