The indoor season continues Friday for the Columbia track & field teams, when the Lions welcome Dartmouth and Yale to the New York City Armory for a Tri-Meet beginning at noon.
NEW YORK – The indoor season continues Friday for the Columbia track & field teams, when the Lions welcome Dartmouth and Yale to the New York City Armory for a Tri-Meet beginning at noon.
The meet can be seen live on RunnerSpace +Plus, with live stats also available.
Starting at noon, the men's weight throw and long jump, along with the women's long jump and pole vault will get the field events under way. The 60m Hurdles kick off the running events at 12:30 p.m., which are scheduled to conclude at 4:00 p.m. after the women's 4x400m relay.
Last weekend, Columbia impressed during its first meet of the calendar year while competing at the Great Dane Classic in Staten Island. Robert O'Brien won the pole vault for the men, while Lauren Micham was victorious in the 60m hurdles for the women.
Friday's meet will be the first of two consecutive home outings for Columbia, as the Lions also will host the Columbia Challenge at the Armory as part of the 2019 Dr. Sander Invitational.
