Haydn Brotschi '26CC Qualifies for European National Championships

Competing at the Switzerland Championships, Brotschi took 2nd in the 400m
NEW YORK — Haydn Brotschi '26CC, former Columbia track middle distance star, is making a name for himself internationally.
Brotschi holds dual American-Swiss citizenship, and recently competed at the Swiss Championships in Zurich's Letzigrund. There, he finished in second place in the 400m and qualified for the 2026 European Championships.
The European Athletic Championships will take place from August 10-16 in Birmingham, England. Over 50 nations will be competing at Alexander Stadium, as the games are held in Great Britain for the first time.
The first round of the 400m dash will be at 11:55 a.m. local time, and 6:55 a.m. EST on August 10.
