NEW YORK—Columbia Athletics invites all alumni, friends and family members to campus this weekend as Columbia University will host its 75
th annual 2019 Homecoming weekend.
"Homecoming weekend is a celebratory event for our great university and athletics program," Columbia's Campbell Family Director of Intercollegiate Athletics & Physical Education
Peter Pilling said. "It's an excellent time for all of our students, student-athletes, alumni, family members, and fans to come out, show their Columbia support and enjoy all of the planned events this weekend."
Highlighted by the annual Homecoming Football game scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19 at Robert K. Kraft Field at Lawrence A. Wien Stadium (corner of 218
th & Broadway) against Penn, Columbia will host one other athletic event over the weekend: field hockey against Penn on Friday evening (Oct. 18) at 6 p.m. at the Baker Athletics Complex.
In addition to the athletics events, Columbia University has planned a variety of alumni and fan-friendly events. Before the football game, fans are invited to attend Homecoming Fest, which includes food, games, and activities for all ages. For all events,

Roar, Lion, Roar: A Celebration of Columbia Football Panel Discussion, Butler Library, Room 203 and Sixth Floor, 6-8:30 p.m.
To mark the official opening of "Roar, Lion, Roar: A Celebration of Columbia Football," an exhibit in the Rare Book & Manuscript Library's Chang Octagon, a moderated panel will discuss the arc of Columbia football from its inception in 1870 to the present day. The discussion is being held in conjunction with the 150th anniversary of the establishment of college football, and panelists will include former Columbia players and staff. Dinner with Roar-ee on South Lawn, Butler Lawn, 5-8 p.m.
Kickoff Homecoming Weekend back on campus with a casual outdoor dinner on South Lawn. Gather on the lawns by Butler Library to eat with friends, meet current students and hear what the college experience is like today.
