Rutgers Invitational On Deck for Lions

Columbia women's swimming and diving travels to Rutgers, Dec. 4-7, for the annual mid-season invitational
NEW YORK — The Columbia women's swimming and diving team will head to its annual mid-season invitational this weekend, competing in the Rutgers Invitational, Dec. 4-7. Columbia's male divers will also be in action at the meet.

Action will kick off Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. ET with the 800-yard freestyle relay. The remaining three days will follow a championship format with prelims beginning at 10 a.m. and finals following at 6 p.m. each day. Diving preliminary sessions will begin at approximately noon each day. A full schedule of events is available here.
In addition to the Lions, teams participating in the event include host-school Rutgers, UConn, Colgate, Lehigh, American and Illinois (diving only).
This marks the fourth-straight season in which Columbia has competed at the invite, having placed second a season ago.
The Lions enter the meet with a 1-2 dual meet record, having defeated Penn in the season opener before falling to Harvard and Yale in the following weeks.
