NEW YORK—Led by Third Team All-America punt returner
Mike Roussos, 10 Columbia football players were named to the 2019 Phil Steele Preseason All-Ivy League Team, the magazine and online organization announced.
Roussos earned preseason Third Team All-America honors and was an All-Ivy League First Team selection as a punt returner. Joining Roussos on the All-Ivy League First Team were senior wide receiver
Ronald Smith, senior defensive lineman
Daniel DeLorenzi and junior kickoff returner
Will Allen.
Earning Second Team honors were senior wide receiver
Josh Wainwright, senior offensive lineman
Parker Coogan, senior linebacker
Michael Murphy, and junior punter
Drew Schmid.
Third team picks were junior linebacker
Justin Woodley and senior defensive back
Benjamin McKeighan
The team was picked as part of the 2019 Phil Steele FCS Magazine, an online-only magazine which can be purchased through

Columbia returns 16 of 22 starters (seven on offense and nine on defense) and a host of additional players who saw extensive action during the 2018 season. As a whole, the Lions return 61 total letterwinners.
