Columbia's Homecoming Game vs. Penn (Oct. 19 at 1:30 p.m.) and Heroes Day Game vs. Harvard (Nov. 9 at 1 p.m.) will both be televised live on SNY.
NEW YORK—For the third consecutive year, Columbia Football games will be televised live on SportsNet NY (SNY), Columbia University Athletics announced on Thursday.
Two Columbia Football games will be carried live on SNY and streamed live on ESPN+: Columbia's Homecoming game vs. Penn on Saturday, Oct. 19 (1:30 p.m. ET) and the Lions' home contest vs. Harvard on Saturday, Nov. 9 (1 p.m. ET). The broadcasts will also be aired on a tape-delayed basis.
"We are excited to continue this relationship with SNY," Columbia University's Campbell Family Director of Intercollegiate Athletics & Physical Education Peter Pilling said. "Appearing on one of the nation's largest regional sports networks is great for Columbia Football and the Ivy League. We are thankful for this opportunity to showcase our exceptional student-athletes in the New York Metropolitan area and beyond."
With a total distribution of nearly 11 million homes, SNY is available to viewers throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Northeastern Pennsylvania for a regional reach of 8.0 million households. Combined with national coverage on DIRECTV, Verizon FiOS, and AT&T U-Verse, SNY's total distribution is 11 million homes. SNY is the official television home of the New York Mets, New York Jets and all things New York sports. As New York's leader in local sports TV coverage, SNY delivers the most comprehensive access to all of the Tri-State area's professional and collegiate sports teams through several nightly sports and entertainment programs.
"SNY is pleased to deliver Columbia University sports to our viewers," SNY's SVP of Programming Gary Morgenstern said. "As an Ivy League institution in the heart of New York, the partnership fits perfectly into the SNY brand and we look forward to showcasing their incredible student-athletes on the field and on the court."
