Lions Start The Year With Ivy League Matches This Weekend

Columbia Lions face Brown on Saturday, Yale on Sunday
NEW YORK – The Columbia Squash teams start the new year off competing in back to back matches this weekend against Brown and Yale. The last match the Columbia Lions No. 6 Women (5-1) and No. 7 Men (4-2) returned home successful after the Ivy league season opener against Cornell. The women finished their matches with and overall score of 8-1 and the men, 7-2.
Scouting Brown
Brown's Women's squash team started their season falling to Yale on December 4. The team is currently, 0-1. The Men's team fell to Yale yet dominated MIT on December 7. The team is currently, 1-1.
Scouting Yale
Yale Women's squash is currently, 4-0, having defeated Williams, University of Virginia, Brown, and Drexel. The Men's team is currently, 3-1, playing the same teams, however, lost to Drexel.
Tuning In
The match against Brown is set for January 11 at noon EST. The match against Yale will be held the next day, January 12 at noon EST.
