It's that time again. This week Jake Caswell is in the spotlight for Fun Fact Friday. Keep reading to learn about his hobbies, aspirations and a nickname that is quite cheesy.
What do you like most about New York City?
The ability to easily go from one neighborhood to the next that offers all different foods and experiences.
Who is your role model and Why?
Greta Gerwig, pushing the boundary of what it means to be a director in a male dominated sphere.
What do you like most about your coach?
Ireland knows the right buttons to push in order to make you excel
How do you prepare for a meet?
Deep meditation and focusing on the goal.
Best part about competing in your sport?
I like the way that running feels, the almost effortless feeling it becomes after years of doing so.
Favorite sport memory?
Earning second place at Indoor Ivy Heps in the 4x800
Do you have a nickname? If so, how did you get the nickname?
Cheese. I'm originally from Wisconsin, pretty self explanatory.
What are your hobbies/interests outside of athletics?
Netflix, books, petting dogs, eating ice cream
What secret talent do you have that not everyone else knows about?
I can move just my ears up and down
