The Lions conclude 2026 outdoor season
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Columbia Track and Field concluded its season at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field NCAA Championship Eastern Prelims inside the University of Kentucky's Outdoor Track & Field Complex.
Haydn Brotschi was off to a great start, advancing to the quarterfinals after clocking 45.57 in the first round. The senior clocked 45.59 in the quarterfinal run.
Lucy Henkel left it all on the track, clocking 2:04.58, and missed the qualifying time to advance by just .1 second.
George Blaha came in 38th place in the men's 10,000m with a time of 30:15.26.
Edward Blaha capped off the postseason run, finishing the men's 5000m in 14:11.13.

400m: Haydn Brotschi (11th in First Round - 45.57, 20th in quarterfinals - 45.59)
1500m: Matt Gatune (Did Not Start)
10000m: George Blaha (38th in Semifinal - 30:15.26)
5000m: Edward Blaha (28th in Semifinal - 14:11.13)
Women
800m: Lucy Henkel (25th in First Round - 2:04.58)
