Spring 2020 Academic All-Ivy League Selections Announced

Earning Spring Academic All-Ivy League honors for Columbia were Kyle Fram (Heavyweight Rowing), Daniel Igbokwe (Men’s Outdoor Track & Field), Jack Lin (Men’s Tennis), Jackie Tang (Men’s Tennis), Will West (Baseball), Madison Canby (Softball), Allie Hays (Women’s Outdoor Track & Field), Jennifer Kerr (Women’s Tennis), Sophia Strachan (Archery), and Jennifer Wang (Women’s Golf).
PRINCETON, N.J.—Ten Columbia University student-athletes were named to the 2020 Spring Academic All-Ivy League Team, league officials announced on Thursday morning.
Earning Spring Academic All-Ivy League honors for Columbia were Kyle Fram (Heavyweight Rowing), Daniel Igbokwe (Men's Outdoor Track & Field), Jack Lin (Men's Tennis), Jackie Tang (Men's Tennis), Will West (Baseball), Madison Canby (Softball), Allie Hays (Women's Outdoor Track & Field), Jennifer Kerr (Women's Tennis), Sophia Strachan (Archery), and Jennifer Wang (Women's Golf). Igbokwe and Hays earned the honor for the third time in their careers, while Lin, Tang, and Kerr are two-time honorees.
To be eligible for the Academic All-Ivy League squad, a student-athlete must have a 3.0 cumulative grade point average and be a starter or key reserve on his or her team. The conference announces 10 Academic All-Ivy League selections (five men and five women) for each school after each of its three athletic seasons: fall, winter, and spring.

JENNIFER WANG | Women's Golf | Sophomore | Solon, Ohio | Major: Enrolled at Columbia College
Ranked third on the team in scoring average (75.10) in 2019-20 … Registered two top-25 finishes on year … Finished 14th at FAU Winter Warm-Up … Shot a season-low 71 … As a first-year in 2019, earned First Team All-Ivy League honors after placing second at the 2019 Ivy League Championship … Became just the third player in school history to earn First Team All-Ivy League honors … Became the second first-year player in school history to earn the honor … Named a WGCA All-American Scholar in 2019 … Posted a 76.35 stroke average, which ranked second on the squad in 2018-19.
