NEW YORK -- The Columbia women's swim and dive team fell to Yale, 106-194, in New Haven, CT. Divers Macy Pine and Alice Diakova headlined the event with top place finishes in the three and one meter events, respectively, while Aziza Ganihanova shone between the lane lines.
Pine put up a 285.60 total, just three points ahead of teammate Briget Rosendahl, to claim the three meter. For the second time in three meets, Diakova captured the one meter, doing so with a 291.60 total. Yale's Genevieve Thibodeau took second (269.48) while Rosendahl earned third (266.70).
"It was great to see how we stack up against some of the best divers in the league," reflected head diving coach Scott Donie." "This is one of the most talented teams I have had the privilege to coach. Just an extraordinary group."
