Fencing to Host Columbia Invite on Friday

Columbia to face Stevens, NJIT, and Johns Hopkins in dual matches on Friday at Dodge Fitness Center; competition begins at 5:15 p.m.
NEW YORK—Columbia Fencing will host its first competition of the 2021-22 season when the Lions welcome Stevens, NJIT and Johns Hopkins for the Columbia Invitational on Friday, Nov. 19 at Dodge Fitness Center. The event begins at 5:15 p.m. at Dodge Fitness Center's Blue Gym (second floor) and Columbia Fencing Room (first floor).
Columbia will take on all three schools including Stevens at 5:15 p.m., NJIT at 6:15 p.m., and Johns Hopkins at 7:30 p.m. All three Lions dual matches will take place in Dodge Fitness Center's Blue Gymnasium. A full schedule of Friday's events are listed below. The competition represents Columbia's final collegiate competition of 2021.
Complete results and a full recap will be posted on Friday following competition.
Columbia is coming off a successful nine-medal Max Garret Open at Penn State and an undefeated weekend at the Air Force Western Invitational. Columbia's women's squad is 8-0 and the Lions' men's squad is 7-0 following dual matches at Air Force.
