NEW YORK — As part of its new We Roar Together social justice initiative, Columbia Athletics is proud to announce pre-sale of a limited-edition statement t-shirt with a portion of all sales benefiting Harlem United, a social services organization dedicated to supporting underserved communities in northern Manhattan. The t-shirt features Columbia's We Roar Together insignia in white on black.

Launched on Dec. 1, the We Roar Together initiative is committed to providing the Columbia community and student-athletes with a diverse, inclusive, and socially equitable culture and experience. The committee comprises student-athletes, coaches and administrators, and seeks to provide opportunities for shared expression and understanding around race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, disability status and socioeconomic background.
For 30 years, Harlem United has worked tirelessly to address the issues and concerns of underserved communities in New York City. Its mission is to provide healthcare, housing, prevention and supportive services to those most in need, fighting for the communities' right to access these services equitably, without barriers of racism, stigma or discrimination.
Harlem United's social services span four programmatic areas (Health Services, Housing, Prevention and Supportive Services) to offer vulnerable populations the following: medical, behavioral, dental, and specialty healthcare; permanent supportive, transitional, and shelter housing models; infectious disease prevention and testing; substance use and harm reduction services; intensive case management and care coordination; linkage to benefits and entitlements; an AIDS Adult Day Health Care; food and nutrition services; vocational education; and more.
