
Columbia Announces Updated Spectator and Venue Policies

Effective January 22, 2022, Columbia University will implement a limited spectator attendance policy for athletics events.
NEW YORK, N.Y. - Columbia University Athletics announced that it is updating its spectator policies for all home events. All policies are in accordance with the University Task Force, city, and state health and safety guidelines.
Effective January 22, 2022, Columbia University will implement a limited spectator attendance policy for athletics events. A limited number of guests of the student-athletes and coaches will be allowed on a pass list. The exact number of guests will be determined based on Columbia University venue policies.
Representatives from the Athletics Ticket staff will reach out to all ticket purchasers for ticketed events regarding refunds.
Fans have an opportunity to be represented during home contests with limited or prohibited attendance through the Loyal Lions Fan Cutout program. All proceeds benefit the Columbia Athletic Department in support of our student-athletes. Click here to purchase today. UNIVERSITY-ESTABLISHED COVID-19 SPECTATOR PROTOCOLS
All spectators in attendance, 5 years of age and older, must show full proof of vaccination to enter all Columbia Athletics venues. Proof of full vaccination shows spectators have received two vaccine doses, except for those who have received the one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Acceptable proof of their vaccination can be done in one of the following ways:
Neck gaiters, buffs or masks with valves are NOT permitted.
There will be no concessions available at any Columbia Athletic events.
Levien Gymnasium

- NYC COVID Safe App Android | iOS.
- CLEAR Health Pass Android | iOS
- Excelsior Pass
- CDC Vaccination Card (or photo)
- NYC Vaccination Record
- An official immunization record from outside NYC or the US.

Levien Gymnasium
- Attendance will be limited to a reserved pass list managed by the teams competing.
- All pass-list spectators must enter Levien Gymnasium through the entrance doors at Broadway and West 120th Street. There will be no entrance through the 4th floor of the Dodge Fitness Center.
- Pass-list spectators are permitted to leave the gymnasium and return. All pass list spectators will be required to present proof of vaccination upon re-entry. If the event is ticketed, pass list spectators must show their ticket upon re-entry.
- All pass list spectators will be given a wristband once vaccination is checked
- Attendance is limited to a reserved pass list managed by the men's and women's swimming & diving coaching staffs

- All pass-list spectators must enter from campus, down the stairs in front of the main entrance of the Dodge Fitness center and through the Grove.
- All pass-list spectators with accessibility needs may enter Dodge Fitness Center via the Elevator in Pupin Plaza (5th Floor)
- All pass-list spectators will be given a wristband once vaccination is checked
- Pass list spectators are permitted to leave the venue and return. All spectators will be required to present proof of vaccination upon re-entry.
- Attendance is limited for the 2021-22 season. For consideration to attend each home event, please sign up by clicking here. To be eligible to attend you must submit your name 72 hours before the event. After that time those who are allowed entrance will be notified.

- All pass-list spectators with accessibility needs may enter Dodge Fitness Center via the Elevator in Pupin Plaza (5th Floor)

- Attendance is limited to a reserved pass list managed men's and women's squash coaching staff.
- For consideration to join the Columbia Squash team pass-list for each home event, please contact Joanne Schickerling at js4411@columbia.edu 24 hours prior to the contest. Only people on the pass list will be allowed access into the venue.
