Callan Hall wins in the No. 2 match
PRINCETON, N.J. — The No. 6 Columbia men's squash team was defeated by No. 5 Princeton, 8-1, Sunday afternoon at Jadwin Gym.
Columbia (7-6, 1-5 Ivy) earned its one point on the day from senior Callan Hall. The South African went down to the wire with Princeton's Karim Elbarbary and took the match in five, 13-11, 8-11, 11-6, 8-11, 11-5. The victory improved Hall to 5-5 on the season.
The rest of the Lions weren't as fortunate. Princeton (6-3, 3-2 Ivy) won six of its eight points in three-game fashion. Harold Castiaux and Adam Goad were able to pull out a game in each of their duals before eventually falling in four.
The Lions compete again in a couple of weeks when they close out the regular season at home against No. 10 Rochester. The match is set to begin at 12 noon from the SL Green StreetSquash Center.
