Columbia held Brown scoreless through the second half.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — In a defensive battle, which saw a total of five shots on goal between both sides, Columbia women's soccer (5-3-1, 1-1 IVY) fell to the Brown Bears (7-2-1, 2-0 IVY) 1-0 in Columbia's first road Ivy League game of the season.
