Several Columbia alumni boats will also be competing
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Columbia women's rowing is gearing up to compete at the 57th Head of the Charles this weekend, joining 11,000 athletes at the world's largest three-day regatta.
"We're excited to bring the largest group of Columbia-Barnard athletes ever to Head of the Charles," said associate head coach Samantha Warren. "The team has worked hard this fall on the Harlem River, practicing head race pieces, and at Overpeck in smaller boats. The race is also a great opportunity for the undergrads to watch and speak with our alumni, who will be racing on Saturday."
The Lions are bringing four boats to the Charles River. On Saturday, the Club 4+ crew of Kira Junge, Annie Buda, Gigi Seal, Gabby Sullivan, and Ari Cobb (COX) hits the water at 12:43 p.m. A little later in the afternoon, the Club 8+ crew of Siroun Johnson, Esme Dodge, Elise Smith, Faith Onyechere, Olivia McManus, Michelle Drandell, Emily Bukowski, Jaia Wingard, and Lynxie Voorhees (COX) compete.
On Sunday, it's the Champ 4+ crew of Paige Bryant, Talia Koch, Katherine Taylor, Lauren Arrington, and Chloe Dietz (COX) races at 1:20 p.m. Then, it's the Champ 8+ crew of Isobel Wilson, Jackie Zatsiorsky, Clara Cheng, Emily Kilroy, Sierra Good, Lulu Gebbie, Elisa Luo, Celeste Funari Muse, and Victoria Fu (COX) in action at 2:11 p.m.

The women's alumnae eight crew is highlighted by Charlotte Buck (CC '18). Buck is a member of the U.S. Women's Olympic Eight and is also set to row with the U.S. Training Center's Champ 4+ on Sunday.
