NEW YORK – Columbia men's basketball concludes a three-game home stand against Penn (Friday, February 4) and Princeton (Saturday, February 6) at Schiller Court at Levien Gymnasium this weekend. Both games are slate for 7 p.m. starts on ESPN+.

OPENING TIP-OFF
• Columbia will wrap up a three-game home stand this weekend against Penn and Princeton before making a midweek trip to Cornell to make up a game that was postponed due to weather on January 17.
• Columbia will participate in the "This Game is No Secret" initiative this weekend to honor the legacy of Hall of Fame Coach John McLendon. The Lions will be wearing special t-shirts during warmups as part of the nationwide campaign.

PENN'S STATUS
The Quakers have won three of their last four after falling to Columbia on Jan. 8, including victories over Yale and Harvard the past two weekends. Jordan Dingle paces the squad and is the second-leading scorer in the Ivy League at 19.3 PPG.
INSIDE THE SERIES - PENN
The Lions hold a 93-145 mark against Penn, dating back to 1901-02. Columbia will look for its first season sweep of the Quakers since 2016.
PRINCETON'S STATUS
The Tigers were handed their first Ivy League loss, an 80-74 decision, to Yale last Saturday. Princeton continues to boast one of the top offenses in the country, ranking inside the top-20 in field goal percentage (.490 - ninth), scoring offense (80.6 - 16th), 3-point field goals (10.8 per game - fifth) and 3-point field goal percentage (.835 - 17th). Four players are averaging in double-figures in scoring, led by Jaelin Llewellyn's 15.9 PPG. Ethan Wright checks in posting 14.5 points and 7.5 rebounds.
INSIDE THE SERIES - PRINCETON
The Tigers lead the all-time series with Columbia, 158-86. The first meeting between the two programs took place in 1901. Princeton has won the last five meetings.
THE LOSS OF LEGENDS
The Lions' basketball program has lost a pair of Columbia Athletics Hall of Famers, Frank Thomas '56CC '63LAW and Jerry Sherwin '55CC, this season. Thomas, who passed away on Dec. 23, was the first Black student-athlete to captain an Ivy League basketball team and was involved with Columbia's NAACP organization to help increase admissions of Black students at the University. He remains the Lions' all-time and single-season leader in rebounding and went on to have a remarkable career as president of the Ford Foundation, one of the world's largest charitable organizations. Sherwin passed away on Jan. 29 at the age of 87. Sherwin served as a manager for the program during his time as an undergraduate and was a staple on the Lions' bench upon his retirement from a successful marketing career in the early 1990s.
