Taylor Zeng finished in third place overall to lead the Columbia women's golf team at the two-day, 54-hole Wofford Low Country Intercollegiate Sunday at Moss Creek Golf Club. Final stats are available on Golfstat at

Columbia concluded the weekend in fifth place out of 16 teams with a 52-over-par 307-295-314-916.
Zeng's third place finish represented Columbia's best individual finish since
Alexis Florio placed third at the 2019 Dartmouth Invitational. Zeng's 220 ranks tied for the 10
th all-time lowest 36-hole score in school history.
On Sunday, Zeng maintained her third place standing with a 76 while carding two birdies and registering a 35 on the back-9. On Saturday, Zeng ended the day in third place after shooting Even at 74-70-144. Zeng moved up the leaderboard in the second round as she carded a career and team-season-low 70, fueled by five birdies on holes 2, 3, 9, 12, and 15.
Playing as an individual, Walsh took 13
th with at 12-over-par 73-74-81-228. Walsh carded nine birdies over the weekend and caught fire in the second round's back-9.
Following Zeng and Walsh,
Jennifer Wang finished in 23
rd place at 16-over-par 79-74-79-232. She registered one birdie on Sunday.
Alexis Florio concluded the weekend in 27
th place at 17-over-par 76-76-81-233 and
Paige Harrison was right behind in 31
st place at 18-over-par 78-75-81-234.
Rounding out the Lions are
Allison Paik, who finished in 52
nd place at 26-over-par 86-78-78-242,
Annie Sun, who took 57
th at 28-over-par 80-75-89-244, and
Marlene Tartaro, who finished 81
st at 45-over-par 85-90-86-261.
Moss Creek Golf Club has a par of 72 and a yardage of 5,916 for the 54-hole event. Saturday's 36 holes will start with a 9:15 a.m. shotgun start, while Sunday's final 18 will tee off at 9:30 a.m.
A total of 16 teams will compete in the event including Appalachian State, The Citadel, Columbia, Gardner-Webb, Eastern Kentucky, Navy, UNC Asheville, Presbyterian, Princeton, Quinnipiac, Richmond, USC Beaufort, USC Upstate, Winthrop, host Wofford, and Yale.
The weekend marks Columbia's third event of the spring 2021-22 campaign. Following this weekend, two events remain on the Lions' schedule: at the Georgetown Hoya (April 9-10) and at the Ivy League Championship (April 22-24).
