Philadelphia, PA -- Despite the Lions' best efforts, the #25 Columbia men's tennis team fell to #45 Penn 4-3 in Philadelphia. The Quakers went 3-0 in doubles play en route to securing an 11-0 record at home.

Hugo Hashimoto defeated Jason Hildebrandt in straight sets. The first-year grabbed the first set 6-2, before securing the victory 6-3. Classmate
Max Westphal battled for a victory on the third court, defeating Aditya Gupta, 6-2, 3-6, 5-7.
  From the fourth position Hennry Ruger collected yet another straight sets victory, defeating Kevin Zhu, 6-4, 6-3.Â
